Gryffin: Almost there.


Gryffin: Whew. Made it. (But how are we going to get down again?)

Gryffin: "Don't cry, Kotori. I just have to get this lid open."

Gryffin: "There we go! Are you ok?"

Kotori: "I was so scared. I thought you'd been taken somewhere else."

Gryffin: "Don't be silly. Where would I go? Come on, let's get you out of there."

Kotori: "I missed you."
Gryffin: "Me too."

Gryffin: This looks like a good place to search.


Gryffin: "Hey! There you are!"


Gryffin: "You can come out now. Have you been hiding all this time?"


Gryffin: "I'm here now . . . but that's not you. . .you're a bundle of pajamas."


Gryffin (is lonely): Where could she be? This place is so big, and I don't know how long it's been since we got here.


Gryffin: How did we get separated? She was right with me when we left, I'm sure of it.


Gryffin (is worried): What if she never made it over here? She's probably so freaked out right now!


Gryffin: No, that's no good. She has to be here. I've just got to look harder.


Gryffin: But where else can I try?


Gryffin: Maybe there's something back upstairs that I missed.


Gryffin: Not in here either. This is getting ridiculous.


Gryffin: Wait a second. I think I hear something. "Kotori? Is that you?"

Gryffin: "Grizzly? Have you seen Kotori anywhere?"


Gryffin: "Hey! Are you even listening? She's lost."


Gryffin: "What am I supposed to do now?"


Gryffin: "You're no help at all!"


Gryffin: "Hang on a second. I didn't mean . . . oh, good idea. I'll ask Bean."


Gryffin: "Bean? I know you're busy, but I bet you've seen the whole house already and maybe know where Kotori is?"


Gryffin: Looks like I'm completely on my own. I'll go look for her by myself.


Gryffin: I really hope she's not down there.


Gryffin: Only one way to find out.


Gryffin (panting): Why did we move to a place with so many, gasp, steps?

We've just moved to a new house, and this photo story just begged me to make it. Please excuse the pictures - my photography is worthless and I always have to take pictures after dark since that's when my baby is sleeping.

Gryffin: We must be there by now; it's so quiet. I have to see what's going on.


Gryffin: Good. No one put me somewhere high. That makes it easier.


Gryffin: Can't forget my hat!


Gryffin: That's better.


Gryffin: This place is a lot bigger than the last one. (kind of a mess, though)


Gryffin: "Kotori! You should come out and look at this."


Gryffin: "Kotori! Come on out! It's safe."


Gryffin: You're not here?!


Oh no!
